I’ve called it “Home-Page Control” because it allows you to set one of your pages as the home page for your site and to put the “blog” part of the site in a sub-directory, all from the comfort of your admin options panel.
So, for example, you could install WordPress in www.example.com
, and let one of your WordPress pages greet visitors who request www.example.com
, instead of your most recent posts. The plugin also lets you specify that www.example.com/blog/
be, for example, where the WordPress blog entries reside.
