New WordPress Plugin

I’ve come up with a lightweight WordPress plugin that might be helpful for those who want to use WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS). I’ve called it “Home-Page Control” because it allows you to set one of your pages as the home page for your site and to put the “blog” part of the site in a sub-directory, all from the comfort of your admin options panel.

So, for example, you could install WordPress in www.example.com, and let one of your WordPress pages greet visitors who request www.example.com, instead of your most recent posts. The plugin also lets you specify that www.example.com/blog/ be, for example, where the WordPress blog entries reside.

Check it out here.
