What better place to accomplish some reading? Sailboats sailing, rowers rowing, couples picnicking, runners and bicyclists passing by, and a sandwich digesting–that’s one fine afternoon.

Much like my old NYC lunch spot. I’d bike about a mile down an avenue to a park along the outer harbor, where there were hardly ever people and I could eat on a shady bench overlooking the water and the Verrazano Bridge. Glad you could enjoy a similar spot.
My sons have rowed in regattas at “the Head of the Charles”. They love it.
