WP DB plugin has been my primary backup problem since I first went to a WP install (love it). Unfortunately the latest version of the plugin does not list the new WP core tables used in WP 2.3, only the ones that are the same as the 2.2 series. The new tables are listed in the "plugins" table list on the right.
The backup seems to complete and download okay but I'm hesitant to use the backup any longer to restore my database. Will there be an update to WP DB Backup that will be compatible with 2.3 and will the plugin as it is now work okay for restoration purposes?

Yes. I've updated the plugin to include the core 2.3 files.
