Recently I had to reinstall my WP blog at Yahoo (I did something stupid and boogered it). Fortunately I had a backup of the data in the form of a .sql file.
So I repeated the Yahoo install of WP (version 2.0.2 still!) but when I use the Yahoo c-panel it only gives me the option of restoring files into WP from other blog-management databases. No way to restore a WP database.
How do I go about restoring my comments and posts and pages I backed up into my fresh install of WP?
I don't know about Yahoo specifically, but just about every host offers PHPMyAdmin, which you can use to restore your database following these instructions.
