In an older version of the plugin, there was an option to require the user to preview the comment before the 'post' button became available. This seems to be gone in the latest version.
I actually *liked* this option: it stopped some of the more naive spammers, and prevented people from embarrassing themselves with bad HTML. Are there any plans to restore it (or any quick hacks to the code that will provide similar behavior)?
Actually, never mind - I actually hacked together this functionality myself! IlFilosofo, I'll e-mail you my modified code so you can take a look at it.
I've posted the patch here for anyone else who wants it, since this doesn't seem to have been checked in officially (any way I could get access to trac to check it in?):
Thanks, codeman38. I've been meaning to add something like this to the plugin, but I've been short on time the last few months.
One reason I haven't just used your patch is that it doesn't really require previews---it just removes the post button. So spammers can still submit comments without previewing, which nullifies what seems to me to be the principal benefit of forced previews.
