I have had my blog on a server running Windows 2003 SBS and IIS6. I recently moved the blog to a new server running Windows Server 2008 RC0 and IIS7. The blog is located in the same file structure as the old one and everything is working except for one thing, WordPress Database Backup. I am able to manually use “Save to server” and “Download to your computer”, they both work just fine. Also, when the scheduled backup is running the file is saved to disk. But I am unable to send it via e-mail (and that worked before). I am using “Cimy Swift SMTP for WordPress” (http://www.cimatti.it/blog/cimy-wordpress-plugins/cimy-swift-smtp/) to send my mail. I have confirmed that it is working by sending test mails, comment moderation mails, etc. So what is wrong? What have I missed?

Were you using Cimy Swift SMTP for WordPress prior to the server change? What happens if you disable that plugin?
Can you check your mail server logs for any relevant error messages?
