I'm trying to do a backup before I upgrade to v2.2. I currently have v2.0 and installed the backup program but when I attempt to backup, it doesn't do anything. The progress bar never goes anywhere. I even wait for a few minutes. What is the problem? Help!
Where do you see this error, and what are doing when you see it?
If you're using WordPress version 2.0, you can't use version 2.1.1 of the backup plugin anyways, which requires that you be using WordPress version 2.0.3.
Where do I get the right plugin for the Wordpress version I'm currently using?
I downloaded wp-phpmyadmin_v2-8-2 and am using Wordpress v2.0. The plugin is visible and I see the backup button in the menu. When I press the backup button to start the process, I get this error:
wp-phpmyadmin is another plugin created by this person. I can't help you with that.
You say that you're using version 2.1.1 of the wp-db-backup plugin (the one I develop), but your error message refers to a function---backup_errors--that is present only in older versions of the plugin.

If you are indeed using WordPress version 2.0, then that version of WordPress came with an older version of wp-db-backup---1.8---included. You can use it to backup your existing database, upgrade to a newer version of WordPress, and then you'll be able to use the newest version, 2.1.1.

Try disabling JavaScript in your browser, then do the backup, and see if it works.
I downloaded version 2.1.1 of the database backup. Now I'm getting this error. I'm not sure what is going on. Any advice?
